If the value of the Process 4 commission is higher than £500, Boatshed will split anything above the minimum 50/50 with the partner/reseller involved.
Processes 1–3
Can be added based on need:
Process 1: Listing generation (e.g. via ReferABoat or local sources)
Process 2: Local services (photos, showings, viewings)
Process 3: Negotiation and offer management
Each additional process typically charges 1% of the sale price, paid upon completion.
Brokers, marinas, and partners can price these processes independently, as long as they align with Boatshed’s quality standards.
Who This Opportunity Suits
Marine Professionals, Marinas, storage yards, maintenance companies, surveyors, and others can manage listings for their customers and offer extra services like cleaning, launching, and photography.
Resellers and Recruiters
Anyone can act as a reseller of the platform, introducing others to the system, managing elements of the sale, or building a portfolio of users under their own management.
Independent Brokers
Whether already operating or starting out, brokers can plug in to the platform, focus on specific processes, and benefit from a 50/50 revenue share (after the minimums).
Groups of Individuals
Teams of people can build a brokerage business collaboratively. Some may do admin, others handle viewings or negotiations, all coordinated using the Boatshed system.
Financial Flexibility and Income Potential
This model is commercially open and scalable. The only fixed costs are:
£150/month platform fee to HQ
£500 minimum to HQ for Process 4
Beyond that, partners can:
Negotiate their own charges for Processes 1–3
Retain 50% of any Process 4 revenue above the £500 minimum
Structure local teams or sub-agents to build income streams under their umbrella
Choose whether they want HQ help with any process, or deliver it themselves
