Broker's Comments
Boatshed Wales are pleased to present this Beneteau First 36.7 – a highly regarded cruiser-racer from the design board of Bruce Farr. Built in 2001, this example has been in single ownership from new, and presents an impressive balance of performance and comfort.
The First 36.7 is well known for its sleek lines, responsive helm, and competitive sailing characteristics, making it equally at home on the racecourse or family cruising. This particular boat has been both raced and cruised successfully by knowledgeable owners – one of whom is a marine engineer – which is reflected in the ongoing maintenance and thoughtful upgrades carried out over the years.
Notable recent investments include new sails, standing and running rigging, upgraded navigation electronics, and a comprehensive sail wardrobe. In 2025, all portlights were replaced, and solar panels have been added to improve onboard autonomy. The sail drive seal was replaced in 2021, and the engine has benefited from regular annual servicing.
Below decks, the layout is both practical and comfortable, with the attention to detail one expects from Beneteau. With her strong sailing pedigree and careful ownership history, this First 36.7 offers a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a proven cruiser-racer in good condition.
The boat is currently afloat at Milford Marina. We warmly welcome all enquiries and viewing requests.
